The Tilton Fenwick Girls, Cecilia and Gibbie

If you follow us on Instagram you’re already aware…the Tilton Fenwick family has grown!  Anne and Ryan were thrilled to welcome Gibbons Rose Foster on April 16th and just this past weeekend, Gibbie was thrilled to meet her bestie and someday favorite babysitter, Cecilia (Suysel’s 6 year old daughter).  For now, the blog will be continuing it’s hiatus while little Gibbie figures out how to sleep through the night.  We’ll be back on just as soon as sleeping and eating routines are established and new mommy can see straight again!

Above / Art and objects on the wall collected over time.  The large black and white photograph was a gift from Ryan’s best friend, Jeff Martin.  The photo depicts a football game between rival high school teams Northfield and Deerfield in 1965, where a fire of the building behind the field wasn’t enough to even pause play! Photo was taken by Robert S. Van Fleet, courtesy of Northfield Mount Herman School archives.

The patterned chairs which inspired the article’s title are 1970s vintage (we didn’t reupholster!) from 1stDibs@NYDC.

Scotland Trip

Traditional Home & Designers in Edinburgh, Summer 2012

Today, Anne is speaking on a panel about the incredible travels she took this past summer with Traditional Home Magazine and Scottish Development International at the D&DBuilding, 14th Floor.  We’re all excited to share our insights about the incredible textiles and design coming from the beautiful and historic Scotland as well as reveal a unique chair design by each designer, inspired by the trip.

Panel will be moderated by Ronda Carman of All the Best Blog and Beth Brenner of Traditional Home.  Panelists include my travelmates and esteemed designers, Gideon Mendelson, Patrik Lonn, Tobi Fairley and Phillip Gorrivan!

See you there today at 9:30am!
