It’s here! Grab your copy of the NYTimes to see Anne’s DUMBO apartment – or check it out online: article / slideshow. A special thank you to Tim McKeough, Trevor Tondro and Ryan Scherb, the outstanding writing and photography teams from the paper. We had lots of fun working with all them over the past few months.

Griffin chairs from Lawson-Fenning in custom Sequana “Donegal Tweed - Fuschia” fabric, Rugs: Barclay Butera for Merida Meridian “Dune – Black” (a go-to! we also used a similar rug in the Hamptons Showhouse), S shaped tables: Mr. Brown, Mushroom shaped pouf: Scout Design’s online boutique Mercantile, Throw: Missoni Home.
The 6′x4′ photograph is “Wildwood 2009″ by photographer (a fellow Dumbo resident and friend of Suysel’s!) Reynaldo Banogon.

Above / Art and objects on the wall collected over time. The large black and white photograph was a gift from Ryan’s best friend, Jeff Martin. The photo depicts a football game between rival high school teams Northfield and Deerfield in 1965, where a fire of the building behind the field wasn’t enough to even pause play! Photo was taken by Robert S. Van Fleet, courtesy of Northfield Mount Herman School archives.
The patterned chairs which inspired the article’s title are 1970s vintage (we didn’t reupholster!) from 1stDibs@NYDC.
Above / Brooklyn favorites – a vintage kilim rug from the Brooklyn Flea and tea from Bellocq in Greenpoint.
Above / Mirror: Gordon Mirror from Arteriors, Vanity: Hutton Washstand from Restoration Hardware, Faucet: Henry (our favorite!) from Waterworks, Flooring: Bolon from Studio Four NYC, Wallpaper: Twigs “Pheasant”

Above / Tile: Glazed Hexagon Cobalt from Nemo Tile – one of our favorite thrifty finds. Super economical, but still appears to have such richness in color variation – could be mistaken for hand-glazed.

Bethenny and Cookie in their TriBeCa loft, photo: Joe Standart, Traditional Home
We will fully come clean with our guilty pleasure for Bethenny Frankel and all of her reality television. We’ve laughed and cried with her over the years on BravoTV while she got married, had a baby, built her Skinnygirl empire, and now as she faces her separation and divorce from Jason.
While many of us (you can admit it too!) watched her and Jason buy, renovate and decorate with the Mariette Himes Gomez (“girls”!) over the last season, we were thrilled to see the final results in the new Traditional Home. Check out the finished home!

Round Hill infinity pool overlooking ocean, Tilton Fenwick Instagram
Today’s weather is a cruel welcome home after being in flip-flops at the pool above for the last three days!

Montego Bay weather this week
Brrrrr NYC!!! What a reality check.

NYC weather this week
Anyway…outside of fabulous interior design at Round Hill (check out this great write up by Cote de Texas and this by us last week) we’re also totally enamored by the Round Hill logo…

Round Hill logo and a babymoon cocktail, aka seltzer with lemon.
Some other great hand-written inspired graphic designs for this chilly January day…

Andy Warhol letterhead, with lettering by Warhol’s mother, via Pinterest

Book cover by Cecil Beaton

Greeting card design, via Anthropologie

“To live with you alone” print by Taj Forer, via 20×200
Slightly reminiscent of the work by most famous Cy Twombly.
And of course!
