Westwood’s Squiggle

We just couldn’t let an entire week go by without a blog post! And while we’ve missed London’s Fashion Week, it’s never too late… Here’s a bit on a renowned British designer, Vivienne Westwood. We just simply love her free spirit…and her most iconic “Squiggle” print graphic design.

Wearing Kelly Wearstler

With NY Fashion Week coming to an end, we wanted to feature one of our favorite interior designers turned fashion designer!  The queen of maximalism, Miss Kelly Wearstler, is launching a fashion line!

Kelly never disappoints! She is quirky, fearless and bold and we are excited to see her line at Bergdorf Goodman!  We always loved seeing what she was wearing on Bravo’s Top Design.  Here are some of our favorites:

Anyone who makes Jonathan Adler look tame is worth watching! Can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Tamara Mellon at Home

A snippet of the NY Apartment of Tamara Mellon, Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of Jimmy Choo. She does not appear to be a regular at Mc-Ds but either way, it’s a nice touch on the over-the-top white tufted sofa. Indulgent! It’s reminded us of one of our favorite (and also over-the-top) Kips Bay Showroom sofas…

PS – we failed to mention those snakes….eeeeee! was she inspired by her own designs?

Cynthia Rowley at Home

Continuing in the spirit of Fashion Week, one of our favorite New York City apartments featured in Elle Decor October 2008: Cynthia Rowley’s West Village townhouse, complete with garden lap pool! Insane! We also love those mid-century chaises upholstered in Mulberry fabric (hello fashion turned interiors).
